Hello Galen! I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with your experience! Allow me to clarify why it took so long for your loan to get to closing. Due to privacy laws, I will not mention any specifics regarding derogatory credit information that would have made your loan difficult to close. You finished your pre-application 6/11. It took you until 7/21(40 days) to get me a contract for the home you decided to purchase. That is where the majority of your time working with me was spent. Your loan was disclosed to you on 7/23, 2 days after you gave us the contract and record timing for the busy season. After your loan was disclosed, we found out the income you provided on your application was incorrect (We double checked with your employers), and you took a week to decide that you wanted to add your mother to the application. From the time your loan was disclosed it took you 3 weeks (8/23) on the dot to get us all of the information we needed to proceed. After we finally received everything we needed to complete your loan, everything ran on time to get your file through processing and underwriting. IF your local company was able to close you in 2 weeks, it was due largely to the fact that my company and I did all of the heavy lifting on your file. As to your statement about my lack of communication, I sent you multiple emails throughout the week and over weekends(because I work 7 days a week) about what we needed for your file. When you chose to respond to those emails was out of my control. In summary, both me and my company put in significant time and effort to make your file work. Your assumption that we were the reason your loan did not close on time is incorrect as we are only able to work with what you give us. I wish you many happy years in your home and I am glad you were able to close!
