Scott Cepicky is a well-rounded man with a lot of life experiences. He has been a mortgage banker and loan originator since 2007, and he also has a love for sports, cattle ranching, and politics.
He received a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin and graduated with a degree in history. While in college, he played both football and baseball for the Badgers. While he was still a junior in college, he was drafted to the NFL and briefly played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Minnesota Vikings. Afterward, he returned to college to finish his degree and then was drafted by the Chicago White Sox and played baseball in their organization for six years.
After baseball, Scott started his career in cattle ranching and crop farming. Over the years, he has managed five different cattle ranches and enjoys driving a tractor as a stress-reliever. He and his wife currently have two herds at their home in Culleoka, TN.
Scott has been a public servant since 2008 as a County Commissioner, Commission Chairman, Maury County Republican Party Chairman, and now he will be serving in Nashville at the state capitol as the Tennessee State Representative for District 64 (Maury County) beginning in January 2018.
He serves the youth in his home county by coaching young boys in football, soccer, and basketball. He coached his son’s team to the youth Football Championship two years in a row and is looking forward to doing it again next year. He has also served on the Boys and Girls Club of Maury County, Kiwanis Club, and is a member of the NRA.
