Madonnas Home Request was taking Highest and Best on the Home she really wanted to see in Wayne. I told Madonna that the home she requested was in a flood zone. She said it's OK and that she really likes the house and wants to see it. From the beginning of our conversation there were times I had to repeat myself because it didn't seem like she was listening. There was no rudeness and the conversations between Madonna and I went back-and-forth all day. On my level of business that is definitely a top priority to tell the client about the flood zone so that everyone does not waste their time seeing the house and then to find out that it's something they do not want to purchase. In addition, I urgently told her we needed a preapproval letter for the transaction to work if her offer would be excepted. All this took place On Saturday of memorial day weekend. I professionally and respectively spent all day communicating with her trying to help her understand what to do to purchase a house. I asked her if she had a preapproval letter? And she said no. So, As I do with all my clients I told her that she needed to fill out an application through her lender to get a preapproval letter as soon as possible. I followed up with Madonna and I asked her if she filled out the application for a Preapproval and she replied yes. I never received a confirmation of a preapproval letter. Normally, I do not show homes unless a preapproval is available. I confirmed an appointment to show her the house anyway on a Holiday with an excepted offer anyway. Later, that night almost midnight I received a text message from someone asking me why I ran their credit? I do not run credit for a Preapproval the Lenders do that. This person never indicated who he was. I then learned it was Madonna's fiancé texting me. In my level of business and the years of my experience I've never had a problem like this before. My background and reviews proves my professionalism & Success.
